Tauchid Komara Yuda is an Associate Professor of Welfare State and Social Policy and Deputy Head of the Department of Social Development and Welfare at UGM, Indonesia, and serves on the Executive Board of the East Asian Social Policy Research Network. In his other professional-academic career, Yuda is also a former visiting Professor of Public Policy at the Department of Society and Health, Mahidol University, Thailand, and is now a visiting Professor of Social Policy at the University of Malaya, Malaysia.
Yuda completed his PhD in social policy at Lingnan University of Hong Kong, where he researched welfare regimes and social policy reform, and is now expanding process-tracing methodology in comparative policy studies. Yuda has published extensively in these areas, contributing to leading international journals and publishing houses, including Social Policy & Administration, Public Administration and Development, Political Studies Review, Journal of Social Entrepreneurship, Sustainable Development, Journal of Asian Public Policy, International Social Work, International Journal of Social Welfare, Social Policy and Society, etc.
