Archery has become increasingly popular in Indonesia since 2010, particularly as a recreational activity tied to Islamic beliefs. This growing interest, especially in the Muslim-majority country, is largely driven by its association with the Sunnah, the teachings of Prophet Muhammad. This study explores the rise of archery as a religious recreational sport, examining how its religious significance has fueled its popularity. Using qualitative methods such as interviews and field observations, the research also investigates archery's connection to global networks and its potential sustainability within Indonesian Muslim society.
