Abstrak/Abstract Setting or temperature control in a high-powered application becomes important today. The spray cooling method is proven to remove high heat flux while controlling the desired cooling rate. Spray cooling was analyzed by a simpler approach by examining the collision of multiple droplets on heated solid surfaces. Mutliple droplets are drop of water which continuously dropped on a surface by certain time difference. When droplet impingement on the surface, the droplet will have spread (spreading), rebound and splashing. In this study, the effect of frequency drops against cooling effectiveness and evaporation time will be observed. Visualization process is used to find area of wetting droplets which is the factor of coooling effectiveness. The observation is performed by using a variable drops to 4,03; 6,16 and 10 Hz. The surface is stainless steel. The surface temperatur 60 o C, 80 o C, 100 o C and 120 o C. Image processing techniques are used to extract the data sequentially from images that successfully taken by using high-speed camera. The test results are to be obtained that the variation frequency drops will affect the cooling effectiveness and the temperature decrease rate
