Nur Arfian graduated from Graduate School of Medicine, Kobe University in 2012. He got a Young Investigator Award from International Conference on Endothelin 2011 (Cambridge, UK), International Conference on Endothelin 2019 (Kobe, Japan) and Travel Grant Award from ET13 International Conference on Endothelin, Tokyo, Japan in 2013. In 2012 He also got Young Investigator Award from Japanese Circulation Society Congress, Fukuoka, Japan. He got some research grants from university and Indonesian government. He supervised many postgraduate (master and doctoral course) students. Now he becomes coordinator of research in Department of Anatomy and Head of Master Program in Biomedical Science, Faculty of Medicine, Public Health and Nursing, Universitas Gadjah Mada. He focuses on kidney and cardiovascular system, metabolism effect (diabetes, obesity, uric acid) in kidney and vascular injury, and anatomy learning devices. He develops research laboratory in his department that establish transcriptomic-proteomic and cellular-molecular techniques during doing researchs. He also got postdoctoral grants from his faculty (Tjacob postdoctoral grant) and Takeda Science Foundation.
